Black Tea, with its long history of use, is one of the most recognized teas in Western tradition. The tea leaves are fully oxidized (fermented), which gives black teas their deep, robust, full-bodied taste. It is an elegant and timeless beverage, simply delightful for savoring in the morning or afternoon. With the highest caffeine content of all the teas, it only contains half the caffeine of coffee. Black tea is known as the world's number one beverage-hot, cold, flavored or scented.

Oolong tea uses a partial fermentation process. The leaves are oxidized at different levels which result in a broad range of flavors and aromas. After harvesting, the leaves are bruised and begin to change colors; the end result is a medley of black and green teas. Our oolong tea is a full-bodied tea with a smooth aftertaste. Studies suggest that oolong tea may aid in digestion, promoting the metabolism of lipids (fats).

The leaves of Black Teas are fermented, then heated and dried, producing a dark red-brown brew. Green Tea leaves are unfermented, greenish in color, with a slightly bitter taste. White Teas are only dried and steamed, then sorted and cleaned. Oolong Tea undergoes partial fermentation, producing a brew with milder characteristics of both black and green teas. Organic teas are grown in accordance with the National Organic Program.
